The 32 in the equation reflects that he is 32 feet above the water or.ground. The question says both. Is that a mistake?
h(t) = 16t^2 +16t + 32
0 = 16t^2 +16t +32
0 = 16(t^2 t 2)
0 = (t.2))t +1)
t.= 1 sec or 2 sec
