It can be shown that for any object in orbit, its GPE is equal to the negative of twice the KE. The answer is A.
For the proof, start with
gravitational force = centripetal force
GmM / R² = mv² / R
and since KE = ½mv²
GmM / R² = 2*KE / R
GmM / R = 2*KE
and you should recognize the LHS as being equal to GPE.
