Combined speed of both cyclists = x + 2x
Speed = Distance/Time
x + 2x = 90/2
Eliminate the fraction by multiplying by 2
2x + 4x = 90
6x = 90
x = 15
Therefore 2x = 30
ANS 15 and 30
