just divide, you do know now to do that.
Density is in g/cm³, you have mass in g and volume in cm³, it should be obvious from the units that you divide mass in g by volume in cm³ to get density is in g/cm³.
But in case you can't follow that...
density = 42 g / 6 cm³ = 7 g/cm³

Density is the mass per unit volume of a substance. In an equation form,
Density = mass / volume
For this problem:
Density = 42 g / 6.0 cm^3 = 7.0 g/cm^3
