Will playing drums with ear plugs still damage my hearing?

I always have -25dB earplugs to cut the high noise, but is that enough? Could I still damage my ears?

You need to figure out the intensity and frequency of the noise to determine the right earplugs. When I shoot guns I wear earplugs and some earmuffs that cut noise for double protection

You will lose hearing at much less time. Maybe even  save your hearing.
