      The driveway is 11 m x 4 m.

      The gravel is 6 cm deep.

      There are 0.4 m^3 of gravel.

      (11 × 4 × 0.06) / 0.4 = 6.6

      7 bags needed.

    Volume of gravel neede is

    11 m  6.6 bags 4 m x 0.06 m = 2.64 m^3

    No. of bags needed is  2.64 m^3 / 0.4 m^3 = 6.6 bags

     Since bags are not sold in fractions/decimals , then you will need 7 bags.

    (11*4*0.06)/0.4 = 66/10

    Nearest whole number of bags is 7

    V= 11*4*0.06= 2.64 m^3

    2.64/0.4= 6.6 or 7 bags

    11 m x 4 m x 0.06 m = 2.64 m³

    do you mean each bag is 0.4 m³?

    in that case

    2.64 m³ x 1 bag/0.4 m³ = 6.6 bags.  7 needed.
