Propane tank?

Is the liquid inside a propane tank the same as gasoline? If it gets on your hands will the smell stay on you like gasoline does?

Not really liquid gas is extremely cold and evaporates at atmospheric temperature, gasoline lingers longer and will smell more.

depends on the bottle , for a foklift they might have liquid in them as a medium for the gas , else it might be a plain tank for house heating .

The liquid is propane.  Propane gas condenses into a liquid at a relatively low pressure at room temperature - about 110psi at 70 degrees F.  It is not gasoline nor is it a component of gasoline.

It has a strong odorant added to it but I can't say that it will linger on your hands or not.

no, it is not like gasoline.  propane is a gas at room temperature and only stays liquid because it is under pressure

Not even close, the liquid in the propane tank is only liquid under pressure ~150psi.

No it's very cold, it can really harm your skin. Don't mess with it
