Can too much water worsen hyperthyroidism?
- Andy CLv 71 month ago
Over hydration in the sense of forcing too much water into the body results in a condition that means that your blood is too 'thin' (meaning too few nutrients per volume). Hypotonia.
Too few nutrients is devastating to ALL of your organs, thyroid included.
But this means 2+ gallons for an adult male, all in less than 1hr.
You will start vomiting long before this is achieved, unless you have neuropathy of your ANS.Source(s): THEN, it's not so pretty.
