when chromium hydroxide dissolves we have

    Cr(OH)2 = Cr2+ + 2OH-

if the pH is lowered we increase the [H+] ions

these will react with the OH - from the hydroxide dissolution

this increases the solubility of that salt

    answer Cr(OH)2
