Is ‘tasted it’ incorrect?
I was having a conversation with a friend and I said, “yeah, you tasted it.” My friend said that’s wrong, that it’s “tasted” lol. Help.

without context, we can't say if your usage was correct.

How can we possibly know, if you don't give us the context? WHAT did they taste? Do you mean your friend thinks "it" is unnecessary? Tell us the CONTEXT. Just click on Edit and post an Update.
And where does "lol" fit into the question?

I don't see any difference. "tasted" is the past tense of the verb "taste".
