Most of the little support for Hitler is not even in Germany.

Historians have jobs variously ascribed. No matter what, they aren't supposed to show "favoritism". Their job is to convey the way it was/is f/ unknown to known and the many places in between.

911 is a major event that spawn 2 decades of wat with Islam. It will be remembered like Pearl harbor but Hitler was pure evil the first villian war leader captured on camera. Imagine if the history channel was around in the days of Hanibal  slaughter of 70,000 Romans or Alexander the great

Of course. Hitler was a major historical figure who had an impact on most of the world. Osama Bin Laden was at best a very minor historical figure on the level of His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada or maybe someone like Pol Pot.

Osama Bin Laden didn't start a world war, but he will be remembered in the future.
