    In packaged soups amount of preservatives is also very high. ... Such kind of preservatives can also cause cancer and other health hazards.     Most are very high in salt and artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.

    Homemade soups made from fresh ingredients are much better for you.

    Not if they have added sugars.   They are typically high in sodium,  so every can of soup should be accompanied with at least one glass of water, preferably two.
