Do you realize the US should hit herd immunity on Covid by the end of May?

We're at about 15% right now. We'll hit herd immunity at around 60-70%. Johnson and Johnson is the largest drug maker in the world and has a massive production capacity. Now that they're added as the fourth vaccine we should see a huge increase in the number of vaccines available. Plus, their vaccine is simpler and doesn't require special storage or have a short shelf life.

No, 'herd immunity' 70% of 330 million people is 270 million. Without the vaccine that won't be reached until at least December 2021. After that they can take their too little too late vaccine...and shove it.

Because by spring (March) 2022 the virus will have burned itself out naturally and American dead will be 1.5 million.

The vaccine won't help us/ make a difference because the government bureaucrats are for unknown reason....rationing and slowing...a more than sufficient supply as of April 1 not to be allowed to people except over the next 2 years. So, not finished until 2023 in time for election 2024.

I admire your optimism, but what you're not taking into account is that people will have to be vaccinated twice. And there's talk in the scientific and medical community about needing a third to cover all of the different varients.

We're not quite out of the woods, yet.
