Hansel and Gretel (Hansel?) is far more believable.

Jesus Christ is a con man who was penned into existence 

back in the days when shiny rocks, ill-gotten goods, livestock, 

pottery, dirt, and virgin daughters were used as currency. 

 

He made promises to some. He gave others a dream. 

And, as we now know, they STILL follow him like beggars 

who will condemn  a n y o n e  by using 'his' name, at every turn.

The Holy Bible is not all stories, silly.  Much of it is history, and much of it is the word of God.
