Why is the US the only country fighting Covid?
There have been four vaccines. Three are from the US. The fourth, (astrazeneca) is from the UK but received financial support from the US through operation warp speed and has a very low success rate.
The primary treatment for Covid is dexamethasone which was developed by an American doctor and is currently produced by American companies.
The US with 300 million people has produced nearly all of the vaccines and treatments.
The rest of the world with 7000 million people has sat on their *ss and complained.
@anonatard- Pfizer is an American company based in New York City. The address is 235 East 42nd Street NY, NY 10017

All countries are implementing social distance even up to jailing standard. Americans are waiting for the vaccines.
Yeh, yeh. You win the war single handed as well. Shame John Wayne’s dead, they could have made a film about it.

Absolute nonsense! You actually allowed a deluded freak, who claimed it was a hoax to remain in the WH until he was FAIRLY voted out. So you must be one of those MAGA monkeys who believe anything but the truth.

Absolute rubbish. There are loads of companies developing vaccines. The UK were the first country in the world to start vaccinating people and that vaccine came from Belgium. The Pfizer vaccine was developed in collaboration with a German company. Operation warp speed, is just more Trump BS. Many countries have put billions into developing these vaccines. Russia and China also have vaccines.

Oxford University may have found a vaccine before any US company, they just happened not to and since there are a few that work, there is no need to keep spending on development. Also, the UK deployed vaccines before the US and has a much better scheme for people to get paid while they are off work, far better than the US has done - and part of fighting it is having people survive financially. Also you've wrote the address of an American company, which to operate in the UK has to register and open a separate company in the UK, so Pfizer UK is not an American company, it will have had to hire British directors who have the right to work in the UK, have a British office which is not allowed to be a PO Box and, it's own British accounts. It can't be run in the UK unless it is a UK company, it is separate from the US Pfizer.
It's far from that! The US has the money to develop vaccines, but they are NOT the only country 'fighting Covid', by a very long way. Life doesn't begin and end with the US. Russia has produced a vaccine, as have the Arab countries, and then there's China
Prizer's HO may be in the US but the vaccine has been developed in Germany and Belgium.
And 'fighting Covid' means a lot more than developing a vaccine, much as it helps!

the world always looks to the US for cures and solutions, because it has the medical resources, and the manufacturing resources. in other words, America has the money. few other 1st world countries will do it because they're lazy. the world has come to look at the US to be the savior for global disasters. just part of the responsibility of being a superpower. China could easily help, but they'd rather watch America bankrupt itself. and the crappy thing is, Trump and all these companies don't even get a world thank you. ingrates!

No, there are at least 6 approved vaccines and a few dozen more moving forward. Only 3 have been approved for use in the US, but others are being used elsewhere.

Two are from the UK, not one. Pfizer's was developed by Pfizer UK in Surrey, England. Also, you disprove the premise of your question by openly admitting the US isn't the only one, that the UK is too, that 25% (even though it's actually 50%) has been by the UK, and that's if one blindly accepts your falsehood of "fighting Covid [sic]" being defined as "successfully developing a vaccine."
Pfizer's mailing address is of no import. Pfizer may have its headquarters in the US, which is wholly for tax purposes, but its COVID-19 vaccine was not developed in America, by America, or by Americans. It was Pfizer's UK division (i.e., Pfizer UK) that developed the vaccine, and it did so sharing joint credit with Oxford University as it was a joint venture between Pfizer UK and Oxford University, just like AstraZeneca's was. That's why Pfizer's announcement that it had come up with a vaccine, the very first vaccine, was held in London and had stood there a panel of British scientists from Pfizer UK and from Oxford University, not held in New York nor had stood there a panel of American scientists from Pfizer US and some American university.
Also, in addition to trying to take credit for something you had no part in, you in your use of the suffix "-tard" prove your bigotry, prove you have no compunction about bastardizing a pejorative term for people with mental disabilities to hurl a false slur as you fatuously try to propagandize your political disinformation, so you are, at the very least, a deplorable twice over.Source(s): Oh, look who has 5 sockpuppets. No matter how many sockpuppet accounts you use to downvote this answer, it doesn't change the fact that it's factually accurate and you're factually full of sh|t. Next time, don't do your sockpuppet downvotes all at the same time and certainly not 18 minutes after you posted the question on what's still the only answer posted. At least then it won't be so obvious that they're sockpuppets.

Chinks manufacture viruses. It's up to us to come up with the cures.
