Because the government believed giving near 100 billion to business with a failure rate of 97 pc a good idea, what are nurses going to do with a pay rise anyway?

because every state budget is in deficit especially Queensland which is 100 billion in debt

Because the Government know that nurses are so dedicated that they don't have to offer them more money, retired nurses came out of the woodwork to do their bit to help in this pandemic, they will work until they drop and the government knows it.
