Should I be worried about these tests results ?
Doctors says liver enzymes are slightly high not sure if I should be worried
- Lab GuyLv 62 months ago
The liver enzymes shown (ALT and AST) are both normal. Tbili is not a liver enzyme but it is only slightly elevated. Not sure what you mean by elevated liver enzymes unless your enzymes before were elevated and now this is a repeat.
There is neutropenia present. You give no history pertaining to the results on why they were done and being repeated. There's no age in order to see if a genetic component is present and no race is given as blacks do tend to have lower white counts than caucasians.
There's no mention of morphology concerning the white cells which is important when evaluating neutropenia and no mention of lymphocyte morphology which is also relevant in evaluating neutropenia.
Neutropenia is present requiring clinical context and history. Your doctor needs to evaluate all the information in front of him which you don't present.
