Should a student be yelled at and/or punished by parents for getting an “A” in every subject but Phys. Ed. (“F”)?

Let’s say he’s a bookworm who gets bullied and is not good in sports.  Does he really deserve to suffer the consequences, since the “F” was a result of not being hip to sports (as opposed to being lazy), on top of the fact that physical education is not a course you can take in summer school?  Thus, the subject not as vital as math, English, social studies, science, etc.

All subjects are important. If you can ace others, you could at least manage to not fail the PE.

Personally, it doesn't matter if it's Phys Ed or any other subject, it's not okay to yell at children because of their grades.

In this case, I seriously doubt a Phys Ed teacher would fail a straight A student. How would a non-lazy person even fail Phys Ed though?
