Do babies who eat breast milk look more like their mothers rather than babies who eat formula?
- DerrickLv 51 month ago
No, we do not resemble things that we consume, and consuming food does not alter our DNA to be more like that which we consume.
Look at it this way... if you eat chicken, do you start to sprout feathers and look more like a chicken? Does eating carrot make you start to turn orange? Does drinking cow's milk cause you to develop an udder? So then why would drinking human milk make you look like the person who produced it?

Lol eat? Breastmilk is a liquid so eating it wouldn't make sense! Don't you mean Drink?! And no, a baby looks 50% like the mom and 50% like the dad regardless of how it got its nutrition during it's early years! That's like asking if someone looks more like a hamburger than a pizza if they tend to eat more hamburger than pizza! What a dumb question lol!Source(s): 36 going on 37

No! What an asinine question.
A baby's appearance is not determined by what kind of milk it drinks. It is partly determined by it genes.

No Breast milk contains antibodies that help babies fight infections but they do not change appearances.

Of ******* course not.
Honestly. Why have we bothered doing the last couple centuries' worth of science?

Facial bone structure is already genetically set, what they eat affects tooth development and sturdiness in the arm and leg bones.
So no, it doesn't happen the way you asked.

That has no effect at all. It's DNA and girls take after the mother and boys take after the father.
