Why don't more people use nuclear energy I hear it's better for the enviroment?

    Everyone wants nuclear power but no one wants it in their town

    There's a knee-jerk reaction to nuclear power based on the handful of tragic accidents that have occurred. But most experts agree that newer, safer forms of nuclear will have to be part of the equation if the world is ever to wean itself off of fossil fuels.

    Building a nuclear power plant can take up to 10 years.

    And everyone has an issue with a 'not in my backyard' attitude.
