What race are Chechens from south Russia?

If they weren’t Muslim would they be consider white?  Some are blond and red haired and look East European.  Of course some are also dark and look middle eastern.

Asiatic, actually. They are not Caucasian. (I am well aware that they look Caucasian, but they are Asiatic). Finns of Finland and Magyars of Russia are also Asiatic. They are not Slavs. Slavs and Jews are Caucasian. Gypsies appear to be related to Northern Indians.

Caucasian, the same race as Europeans.  Many Muslims are Caucasian - religion has nothing to do with race.
