How can you get a headache that hurts if during brain surgery it doesn't actually hurt when they cut your brain and start probing.?
if that's true, how is it that the back of my head can feel like it's literally being clawed because I don't have any sinuses back there

There are no pain receptors in the brain itself, but your head is full of them. Any issue that causes swelling or constriction, whether from sinus, muscular or vascular, puts pressure on all those other nerves.

Your brain doesn't have any never endings and so it doesn't have pain. A head ache is pain in the face of the sinus cavities. It's not pain in the brain,
