In what country or city is it legal for a 17 year old to marry a 19 year old without parental consent?

Can someone do some research and tell me where it’s allowed it’s for a research assignment about child marriage. Where is it easy?

In Scotland you can get married at 16 without parental consent. In most places you need parental consent under 18. In Canada you can get married under the age of 18 but over the age of 16 with a judges permission.

    So you want to

run off and get married in a different state where it is legal. That’s not how it works.  When you apply for the marriage license you’ll have to show identification at which time they will know

    you’re not a resident.

I think most people are too busy to do your research for you. Google is your friend. Hope you took a long hard look at your husband to be.
