Educated Christians do, yes. There's no requirement to take the creation story literally.

Jesus Christ founded one Church, said it was to remain one, and promised that one Church "The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth", and "Whatsoever you bind upon Earth is bound in Heaven", and "He who hears you hears Me". As a result of these divine guarantees of truth, the teaching of that one Church (which includes well over half of all Christians) never conflicts with natural truths revealed by science. Truth cannot contradict truth. The only ones who have a problem with biological evolution are unauthorized manmade Protestant churches that came into existence by rejecting God's Church and its truth. We know that such churches teach a great deal of untruth, since the teaching of each denomination contradicts the teaching of the others, and truth cannot contradict truth. Therefore it is no surprise that some of their false teaching also contradicts scientific truths clearly proven by a tremendous amount of evidence.

Some do, some don’t.  Evolution is obviously true.

Many who do not believe in the Bible embrace the theory that living things emerged from lifeless chemicals through unknown and mindless processes.

Supposedly, at some point a bacteria-like, self-replicating organism arose, gradually branching out into all the species that exist today. This would imply that ultimately the mind-bogglingly complex human actually evolved from bacteria.

The theory of evolution is also embraced by many who claim to accept the Bible as the word of God. They believe that God produced the first burst of life on earth but then simply monitored, and perhaps steered, the process of evolution. That, however, is not what the Bible says.

The Bible account of creation does not conflict with the scientific observation that variations occur within a kind.

According to the Bible, God created all the basic kinds of plant and animal life, as well as a perfect man and woman who were capable of self-awareness, love, wisdom, and justice.

    What's it to you?

Those who love truth accept it when they hear it. For those who despise the truth, no amount of evidence is enough. Even if someone was to rise from the dead they would not believe.

Under the crushing forces of miles of water, minerals seeped into the tissues of plants and animals making them into stone replicas of themselves.

The only reason why fossils exist is because of the world wide flood; circa 2500 b.c.

Tusks, antlers, fangs, horns, reptiles, trees, some forms of marine life and some bugs NEVER STOP GROWING as long as they live. Everything lived ten times longer in the antedeluvian world because of the air quality, known by samples extracted from fossilized sap (amber).

Trees like this one are found all over the world. You don’t think it grew through "billions of years of rock" do you? Buried upright during the flood, the mud also compressed and became stone. Pressure, not time, created the topography of the earth and every fossil. That's why we have fish fossils on the tops of mountains.

Repent already: time is almost up. Mohammed was a victim of Satan, and so are you. Go to Jesus and live. The end of days will come just like the flood that swept them all away.

That's the problem, conservative christians don't think, everything to them is the -infallible inerrant truth- , even when God's word contradicts itself, and MORE importantly to them the conservative political narrative.
