A pendulum on earth has a period of 1.82 s. what is it’s period on Mars? g=3.71 m/s^2

    on Earth (ge = 9.806 m/sec^2)

    Te = k/√ge

    on Mars (gm = 3.71m/sec^2)

    Tm = k/√gm

    Tm/Te = (k/√gm) * (√ge /k) = √ge/gm = √9.806/3.71 = 1.626

    Tm = Te*1.626 = 1.82*1.626 = 2.96 sec
