The Power of Love (Not to be confused with the Huey Lewis song)-Celine Dion's version from 1993 is a very well known version of the song, but it was first recorded by Jennifer Rush in 1984. Laura Branigan also did a version in 1987.

I Love Rock and Roll-Most people know Joan Jett's version from 1981, but it was originally recorded by The Arrows in 1974.

Hurt- Johnny Cash's version from 2002 is very well known, but Nine Inch Nails did it first in 1995.

Alone-Heart had a very big hit with their version in 1987, but many people forget that a group called I-Ten recorded the initial version of the song in 1983

There are countless others, but I don't have enough time to list them all.
