Texas is a large state with a pretty vast geography.
West Texas is probably the flattest place on Earth (I'm not sure what Cosmo is smoking), but once you get to Post there are a lot of hills.
East Texas is a lot like traditional southern states. Rivers and swamps.
South Texas around Houston is very humid and has a lot of beaches.

Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas are three of the fourteen states of the Great Plains. They are flat flat flat flat. The highest thing between Brownsville, Texas and the North Pole is a fence post in Nebraska.

Oklahoma is NOT FLAT and neither is Texas. Oklahoma has Mountains in the east (Ozarks) and central Oklahoma (Arbuckles) and an almost buried mountain range, the Wichitas in southwest Oklahoma north of Lawton. The Oklahoma?and Texas panhandlers?are NOT flat either. They have topography and relief. There is no state line painted on Earth's surface in western Oklahoma or the panhandlers. People in my mother's jometen think nothing of going 20 miles even twice a day to liberal Kansas to go grocery shopping or get pizza or fast food. Many people work in Liberal for decades.
Texas is not flat either. It IS a different country from Oklahoma.
For the person who claims Oklahoma is flat flat flat The elevation in Norman OK south of Oklahoma City is 3200 feet and goes to over 3500 hundred feet in my mother's hometown in the Oklahoma panhandle. The elevation if Black Mesa in Cimmaron county is 5705 feet. You should use high altitude baking directions in my mother's hometown unless you want your cornbread to be burned on.the bottom and almost liquid in the center.

Parts are flat. Parts are mountainous. It's big. It also elects f*ckbags to the Senate.

In Texas there are three mountain peaks in excess of 8000 feet.
So it is not all flat like Kansas and Oklahoma.
Secondly if you ever drive a fully loaded U-Haul across any of those states at night you would be surpassed how hilly they are.

Parts of Kansas are actually not flat. Once you get into Oklahoma it’s actually rolling hills even though some parts are “flat.” The Ozark mountains are also partially located in Oklahoma. If you ever visited Oklahoma and drove around you’d see it’s nowhere as flat as what people make it seem. Once you hit southern Oklahoma and drive into Texas it becomes even more hilly. Again, there are parts of Texas that are flat, but the central US is not as flat as people are made to believe even though there are certain locations that are but most is actually smooth rolling hills.
