    area = LW = 440

    perimeter = 2L + 2W = 300

    L = 440/W

    2L + 2W = 300

    2(440/W) + 2W = 300

    2(440/W) + 2W = 300

    440/W + W = 150

    440 + W² – 150W = 0

    W² – 150W + 440  = 0

    W = 75 ± √5185

    W = 75 ± 72

    W = 147, 3

    L = 3, 147 m

    dimensions are 3 x 147 m

    I think you meant the area is 4400 m^2.  Then the dimensions are 110m x 50m.

    If the area is really only 440 m^2, the dimensions are something like

    148m x 3m (though that isn't exactly right).
