Divide using synthetic division?

7x^3 - 25x^2 + 17x - 10
= 7x^2 (x - 3) - 4x^2 + 17x - 10
= 7x^2 (x - 3) - 4x(x - 3) + 5x - 10
[notice that I've already eliminated choices A and B and D]
= 7x^2 (x - 3) - 4x(x-3) + 5(x - 3) + 5.
It's answer C and it checks out!
Sorry I didn't use "synthetic division," I hate it. Plain old long division always works fine.
