The primary function of the respiratory system is to bring oxygen into the lungs, transfer the oxygen to the blood, and expel the waste product carbon dioxide.

OXYGEN-- therapy is vital to correct low oxygen levels.
Bronchitis---aspirin or acetaminophen to reduce any fever, if this is from a bacterial infection antibiotics are offered.
