The United States is a huge, extremely diverse country with one of the largest immigrant populations in the world, and if intelligence tests are one thing, they tend to be heavily culturally biased. Individuals in monocultures tend to score higher on IQ tests than in heterogeneous societies. As such, I imagine the US IQ average would be closer to the mean score of 90-110.

The average IQ is 100 by definition.  If you have an IQ of 110, you're 10% above average.  If you're 95, you're a little below average.
