Any Sun sign can be emotional, it's just that Cap. Sun people may prefer to not want to show them.

Your "Zodiac Sign" is ONLY your Sun Sign. Sun represents how you try to develop an inner sense of wholeness and self-esteem.  So if someone is born while Sun is moving through the Sign (not the constellation) of Capricorn ... late Dec to late January ... they need to be realistic and make things work well IF they are going to develop self-esteem.

But you are asking about emotions.  The Sun has nothing to do with our emotional nature. It is MOON that shows our automatic emotional reactions and how we try to be comfortable with our emotional reactions.  

While Sun is always in Capricorn between late Dec and late January .... Moon takes only 2.5 days to move through a Sign, so someone with Sun in Capricorn could have their Moon in ANY of the 12 zodiac Signs.

As for emotions ... everyone has emotions.  What varies is HOW they try to work with them ... or try to repress them.  How well they learn TO work with them. And since all the natal chart shows is how we start out in life, and since it is only an influence that does not actually control us .... all you can tell from someone's Moon Sign, House and aspects is how they started out emotionally in life. While the general style will alwasy be there, how well/poorly they handle that style of emotions depends on how much they have learned and grown.

But EVERYONE has emotions.  Whether or not they let you see it.
