When you buy a new Bowie or hunters knife online, should it come already sharp?

I recently bought a bowie/ hunters knife online, I haven’t unpackaged it yet but I’m hoping when I open it, the knife will already be sharp? Should it be?

If it isn’t, should I complain to the company I bought it from?

I’d appreciate any help or advice.

It should be sharp and ready to use.

If it's a "real" knife, a tool, then it should be sharp and high quality steel.

If it's a display one it may be blunt and not good quality metal or even have usable strength.
