Why does this place look like Surrey ?

Even though it’s near Kingston in London

If its near Kingston then it might be located in Surrey. Since, Kingston is part of Surrey County. South East England is pretty similar to Surrey.

It looks like a B road with some trees and a probably mock-Tudor house. It could be in pretty much any county or any suburban area in the UK.

Kingston Upon Thames used to be part of Surrey until 1965.

Despite the boundary changes Kingston is where the

administrative headquarters of Surrey County Council is still based.

Kingston used to be part of Surrey. They're still adjoining areas; it's hardly unsurprising there are similarities.

Kingston upon Thames is now in the Greater London area although it used to be in Surrey.

Source(s): It happens to be where I was born.
