Best books to read or best advice to receive to improve my chess game? ?

I’m really bad. Like really really bad. I’ve only played for 3 weeks now but I should be a lot better for how much I’ve read about chess. I’ve read into how to open my chess board so my pieces have mobility towards the start, how forks and pins work, how to pile up attackers on crucial squares, when to make good trades, and etc, and I still really suck. Everyone I play against on chess.com always beat me.

It takes repetitions. You can't learn it in 3 weeks. There is a lot on your chess website besides games, I suggest you do their puzzles and lessons too.
