Caliph Uthman (the third caliph of Islam) was the one who collected all circulating copies of the Quran, then produced an authorised version, and burned all original references. So after Muhammad's deaths two caliphs reigned and died before the Quran was collected into one volume.
But there was editing before Uthman. A hadith quotes Aisha (wife of Muhammad) as saying that some verses of the Quran were eaten by a sheep, and this never made it into today's version of the Quran. See this video which explains it:

not edited... from the very first verse memorized by mohammed, he had his followers to memorize and repeat back to him verbatim, dot for dot.. then had them write it down and repeat again.. since then, nothing has changed..

Othman ordered all copies of the Koran that did not match the version he was holding to be destroyed. Sounds like there was some editing going on there. And, unlike the the Bible which Christians believe was inspired by God, Muslims believe the Koran was actually dictated word for word by God. So the fact that there were different versions of the Koran is problematic.

No, it was brought down by angels, no one ever edited any thing. It is not like the first and the second testament. You are confusing Islam with Christianity.

It is not edited. It is the Word of Allah revealed to the Prophet (PBUH)
