Why are men more likely to spend their money on the latest technology?

because it takes less money to dress them and the clothes last longer because they are more durable. for guys they just need jeans and a shirt and the phone probably is like a fashion accessory for a guy. women have way more fashion to incorporate into their lives.

Men are obsessed with things that expand productivity and they always wants to be first to everything and have a narrow mental fixation on that leading mentality and having everything if someone else does.  Women on the other hand are more competitive socially and emotionaly which high tech technology isn't really going to do anything for that. They would rather redo their home interior hoping that it will provide a good family environment. But that's just in general. But when it comes to cell phones I think girls are a little crazier about social benefits. Woman just really want the next most pretty thing. Men want the most powerful or stimulating new thing.
