Isn't normal for folks that own semi-automatic rifles to shoot at least 500 rounds in a day at different targets with family and friends?

My source calls 900 rounds an "ammunition cache"!

    I doubt it since it made the "news".....

    Unlike the murders of teenagers by other teens with handguns that occur every day of the week in places like Chicago, Oakland, Detroit, DC and Baltimore....

    ....but we're not supposed to talk about that..... are we?

    Even people I know with FULL auto only shoot them once in awhile, not every day.
