Is there a way to save checked/ unchecked songs in Itunes and bring it to another computer?

Is there a way to save iTunes song selections and bring it to another computer, I will transferring music to a new computer and want to be able to save a simple file that implements what was previously selected and what was not. Is this possible?

Open itunes with the songs you want to save.

click on

edit

preferences

advanced

note the iTunes media folder location

Open windows explorer and navigate to iTunes media folder location, copy the entire folder and paste into a USB flash drive or other external drive

Install iTunes on the other computer. Note the location of iTunes media folder as before, paste the contents of the library you copied from the flash drive from the flash drive or external drive.

If you only want specific songs create a playlist on the original computer of the specific songs

In iTunes

Select the playlist in the sidebar on the left, choose File > Library > Export Playlist, then choose XML from the Format pop-up menu.

To import on the new PC

In the iTunes app on your PC, choose File > Library > Import Playlist.Choose the XML file to import.The imported playlist includes only songs and videos already in your iTunes library
