Here in Britain, hardly anyone is allowed to own guns but I presume you're asking about the US and suggesting that our mental health problems prevent us from doing so there.  The answer is that they don't and that it would probably give trans women a greater sense of security if they did own them, so there's an argument for it (which being non-American I disagree with).

Depends on the country and the laws.

But if adults are allowed to own guns then yes, this includes adult trans people. Why shouldn't it?
