Senegal has many cultures. Two languages spoken in Senegal, Wolof and Pulaar are also spoken in Mauritania. Senegal shares no languages with Ghana and only French with Cameroon. Senegal and Mauritania are mostly Sunni Muslim while Ghana and Cameroon are more Christian. If there are similar cultures, they would be with Mauritania with which Senegal shares a border not with Ghana and Cameroon which are at least 1000 and 2000km away respectively.

I'd say closer to Ghana and Cameroun, but Senegambian culture is its own thing. The Fulani live all across that latitude, and in that sense Senegambian culture is more like other countries in Central Afrika than the Cameroun, but it depends on your ethnicity.
