Did you ever notice?

Random but have you ever noticed people from the old generation pronounce words like height, "heith". Or say fustrated instead of frustrated without the r ? Just something I noticed more than once.

Update:

I say old generation meaning people born in the 40s-60s

This question is not meant to offend, merely curious. There is no way I am the only one that has noticed these words being pronounced wrong, nevermind slang usage which is purposely wrong.

No, but I noticed the young generation pronounce phrases like "what is up"?. 'whasup", and "my buddy", "ma bud" without the dy.  Just something I've noticed more than once.

I've never heard anyone pronounce those words that way.
