In a company of 35 employees , four-sevenths work in sales .
a) How many of the employees work in sales ?
b) If 40 % of the employees drive to work , find the number that drives to work .
c) What percentage of the employees work in sale ? ( nearest unit )
I did :
35 x 4/7 =140/7= 20
a) 35 - 20 = 15 work in sales
b) 40/100 = 0.4 0.4 x 35 = 14 drive to work
c) 15/100 = 0.15 = 15% work in sale

PART A:
You went a step too far. You calculated 4/7 of the total employees to get 20 employees that work in sales. But then you subtracted that to get 15. The 15 would be those employees that *don't* work in sales.
Also, when multiplying 35 * 4/7, you can make it easier here if you divide first:
35 * 4/7
= (35/7) * 4
= 5 * 4
= 20 employees work in sales
PART B:
You did this correctly and got the correct answer.
PART C:
Not only did you use the wrong number of employees (15 rather than 20), you divided by 100, not by the number of employees in the company.
Actually, you already know that 4/7 of the company work in sales. So you could just convert that to a percentage directly.
4/7 = x/100
400/7 = x
x ≈ 57.142857%
You could also take the 20 employees from part 1 and divide by the number of employees in the company (35), but then make it a percent.
20/35 = 4/7 = 0.57142857... --> 57.142857...%
