why do my bedroom windows develop condensation? ?

when you beath out you also breathe out water vapor.. To stop the condensation cover the inside of the window a certain might do the job or a sheet of cardboard

The glass does not insulate the hot conditioned air, from the cold outside air, well enough.  This is very often seen in double pane when the seal has broken. You'll get condensation between the panes. It could also be due to the humidity levels, when high, just like after a shower, condensation will be the result. If you have it on the windows, you could also have it on or in the walls, which can lead to mold.

Moisture in the air from you BREATHING.  So that means COVID in that moist air.   And no, cold does not kill it.

How to get rid of the fog.  Open the window a bit like 1/4"  Also do it in a room kitty corner from that room as the moisture is in the house. and a slight cross breeze will eventually blow it out.

. I drove VW Beetles. with air cooled engines so the windows fogged up because the heat was coming from our breathing.  Opening a window allowed the moisture to get sucked out and the windows cleared up.

Because there is warm moisture laden air in you hose. When it contacts the cold glass, the moisture condenses on the windows. Either lower the moisture content in the air, or get better windows that do not conduct the cold to the inside surface.

open it !..simple as that ..sit in your car for 5mins ..with windows shut ..the windscreen will be soaked ..sleep in a bedroom with window shut and its the same ..warm moist air hitting a cold surface ..we never sleep  with windows shut ..in fact we don't heat the room..

Warm air holds a lot of water, it meets a cold window and condenses. Either reduce amount of water in the air or change the windows to double glazing to reduce the temperature gradient.

It's caused by excessive moist air in your house.When that air hits the cold windows you get condensation.Remove the source of moisture and it will dry up.If you have a humidifier turn it down.If you leave it you will eventually develop black mold.
