Mitt Romney annouced yesterday he believes the impeachment of a private citizen is Constitutional. Do you agree?

I have found the impeachment clause. It speaks about removing a sitting President. Can't find anything to back up that buffoon Romney

I do know the Dems have destroyed the impeachment process. It's now a political tool. A House majority is grounds for impeachment.  

Remember before President Trump took office the left was calling for his impeachment?  Now he's left office and they are screaming for his impeachment.

Yes, if that private citizen was in an impeachable post when the impeachment was made.  Trump was impeached while president.  Now he gets to go to trial.  Pretty simple, really.  Not the first time this has happened either.  Just the first president.

LIAR!  That's not what Romney said.  Trump has ALREADY BEEN impeached for the 2nd time.  What remains is the trial.  The Constitution puts no time limits on the trial.

yeah,  funny, here's what a 2 second search  gave me. 

In impeachment proceedings, the defendant does not risk forfeiture of life, liberty, or property. According to the Constitution, the only penalties allowed to be imposed by the Senate are removal from office and disqualification from holding any federal office in the future. After removal from office, the removed person may be open to criminal prosecution for the actions that brought on the impeachment. The President is constitutionally precluded from granting a pardon for the impeached act.

So, the act of impeaching him,  does indeed serve a purpose. 

Not only can he be prevented from holding any further office..... but he can also still be charged  with crimes relating to the riot he incited ....or held accountable in civil court for the deaths.
