    Yes, it does. People often ask, "Is it rude if I say [x]?" The answer is almost always, "It's not so much WHAT you say, as HOW you say it".

    Not to me.  If someone said that to me, I would ask them when they decided to allow other people to dictate their emotions for them?

    They call them “your feelings” for a reason. They’re your responsibility, not mine.

    yes, if you're snarky or underhanded then you come off as a jerk even if what you are saying isn't jerky
