Which is best, a good rehabilitation center farther away or a mediocre rehab closer to home?

My father need physical therapy, I, myself, is willing to travel farther to see him. But Im not quite sure if his friends and other family would.

It is 30 miles farther away, or over an hour drive.

Ask him if he'd rather get better faster with fewer visits or get better more slowly but have more social interactions. This assumes you're in some alternate reality where visitors are allowed at all. That's certainly not the case in most parts of the world.

If all else is equal, such as the costs, i would go for the best facility and make the drive.

If you want your father to recover more quickly, choose the best rehab facility possible. As long as you're willing to make the trip to visit him, it's the best choice.
