Is the Biden Administration changing history. “The First EVER National Poet Laureate"?

The position was modeled on the Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom.

Begun in 1937, and formerly known as the Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress,

The present title was devised and authorized by an Act of Congress in 1985.

The Poet Laureate's office is administered by the Center for the Book.

First: •  1937–1941: Joseph Auslander

Trump Administration was/is •  2019–present: Joy Harjo

The Biden Administration now claims“The First EVER National Poet Laureate" to beAmanda Gorman?

Have the blatant lies begun?

Update:

“The First EVER National Poet Laureate"  Amanda Gorman Is the direct quote from the Inauguration Master of Ceremony.  ["Ever" is my emphasis.]

Cite, please. She is the first ever "national YOUTH poet laureate." It's a different position from U.S. Poet Laureate. So why are you misquoting people? Because you're a Trumpian devil-spawn?
