Why did liberals beleive it when Obunga told them they could KEEP there docters?

Its in the liberals DNA to blindly believe whatever the media feeds them.

Because they knew he meant that he wouldn't stop them and that the Affordable Care Act wouldn't stop them.  They weren't stupid enough to think that he meant that no more doctors would ever die or retire.

Because everyone that wanted to keep their doctors, kept their doctors. At least until we Republicans got that part removed from the ACA. Then insurance companies were free to remove doctors from their PPAs, 

 if their fees were too high.
