Can abnormal electrical brain activity be cured with medication?

EEG can detect abnormal activities of brain activity. So, depending on how these electrical abnormalities manifest, we can potentially use drugs to cure them. For instance, MRI scans may be able to detect physical and functional changes in the brain that can be linked to major depression. Thus, you can use an SSRI (Prozac) to treat/cure depression. Of course it's a bit more complicated as I would probably talk to a psychiatrist about depression, but yes, long story short, you can use medication to treat abnormal brain activity. :)

No because there is no cure for how a person’s brain works that is different to yours. Everyone has their own brain activity going on and if you can’t accept that, it’s your problem.
